Associates Offices:
This project was a 15,000 square foot office
space for Vignelli Associates on the east side
of Manhattan. The space was built in the penthouse
on the roof of a printing building built in
the 1920’s. A project based on the concept
of minimalism, the material palette was formed
from simple materials like particle board for
the desks, wall panels and shelving, mill aluminum
for window walls, stone and epoxy flooring,
lead panel walls, heavy steel plate for table
tops, and gold leafed sewer pipe used for bases.
